Laminate Maintenance Guide
Protection:
- Chairs should have protectors or chair slides to prevent damaging of the floor.
- Sharp objects can damage laminate floors.
- Stiletto heals can and will leave indentation on most floors.
- If your Floor abuts to exterior doors, put outside and indoor mats to absorb moisture and stops particles of sand being tracked on to your floor to avoid hazing?? or scratching.
- Rubber or coated mats may discolour your floor use only those with mat manufacturers assurance.
Maintenance:
- Sweep and dust floors regularly.
- Wipe up spills immediately.
- Spots and stains can be removed with a damp cloth.
- Damp mop with manufacturers recommended cleaner (do not use a wet mop as excess moisture will damage floor and void warranties).
- Damaged areas can be replaced or repaired provided you have full boards left or purchase additional material at time of ordering.
- Laminate flooring manufacturers have specific products for the maintenance of your floor you should use these products only.
- Never wax, sand or apply lacquer to laminate floors.
- A laminate floor can with stand a lot of abuse and is extremely durable. However, a word of caution – it must be cared for as you would with any other possession. It can be scratched with sharp edges on chair legs or fine gravel being brought in via the patio door. Replacement of boards is relatively easy to install. So keep any leftover for future repair if necessary.

- The manufacturer and Jordans do not warrant any product sold as cabin or tavern grades.
- All Jordans’ full service installations carry a 2 Year Warranty.
- In the unlikely event that you may need to exercise your warranty you will be required to show proof of purchase.
